Mountain Training Courses
We are an approved provider for Mountain Training's Climbing Wall Instructor, Climbing Wall Development Instructor and Indoor Climbing Assistant scheme.
We run Climbing Wall Instructor (previously Climbing Wall Award) Training Courses and Assessments, including the Abseil and Top Roping Module.
The Climbing Wall Instructor qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on artificial climbing walls. The scheme is ideal for those looking to work at climbing walls or activity centres with climbing facilities. The course covers the Climbing Wall Instructor syllabus including technical competence, the climbing wall environment and supervision.

"Absolutely loved the course! Found it very beneficial and informative. Loved how it was very practical based, and didn’t involve sitting down for long periods. Really liked that all demonstrations you provided were really clear and easy to understand, & a good environment was created making it comfortable to ask questions etc. Particularly found it useful when being the instructor and controlling two ropes! Got a lot more from the course and learnt a lot more than I thought! Couldn’t fault the course in anyway! Would highly recommend you to others, and will sure be in contact in the future for an assessment."
