At the weekend I was in Wales for the Buff Winter Trail Wales and the Association of Mountaineering Instructors AGM.
We ran the beautiful trails of Coed y Brenin on Saturday, it was a very cold race with lots of mud and even snow but we had a fantastic time. After warming up with a cup of tea in our finishers' mug it was time to head over to Plas y Brenin for the Association of Mountaineering Instructors AGM on the Saturday night and a workshop by Rab and Lowe Alpine on the Sunday.
The AGM was a good opportunity to meet up with other Mountaineering Instructors and catch up with news and updates. The workshop on Sunday was very interesting, getting to see some of Lowe Alpine and Rab's latest products and learning more about the materials and technology that goes into making them. Learning about the innovative new products and materials on the market is really valuable, as it means I can pass on this information to my clients.
