Yesterday I finished delivering 3 days of rescue training for staff at Go Ape Trent Park. I had a great time working with the team, despite the wet weather! Here is a video of me 'monkeying' around on the zip wire before heading home.

Had a great day today and climbed Goat Track gully with The Tempest Two but the wind felt much stronger than forecast so we were a little bit wind battered by the end of the day :)

After the high winds and poor avalanche forecasts last week I came back to Scotland with The Tempest Two to do some climbing and consolidate for my MIC. The weather today was amazing in the Cairngorms with wall to wall sunshine, light winds and really good consolidated ice throughout... Excited for tomorrow :)

Just spent an amazing week in the Cairngorms on my Mountaineering Instructor Certificate training. The weather was a very mixed bag with lots of snow, 110mph winds, Blizzards and some sunshine too.

After a very long drive from Roybridge to Aviemore and

because of the amount of overnight snow myself and Ollie opted for a walk round Corrie An T-Sneachda and the Fiacail ridge today. conditions underfoot were a mixture of compressed snow and breakable crust but not too bad. The wind was pretty strong at times though :) The biggest issue today was avoiding crashing the car on the A86 (be careful out there). Thanks Axonsounds (Ollie) for the video.

Had the most beautiful skies today but some very strong winds on the East Ridge of Beinn A' Chaorainn. An amazing mountaineering grade II in some great surroundings. Although it was still unconsolodated powder, it was good climbing.
